Fuck That Place, 2018

You arrive at the place of origin
and you look around, finding yourself all over the place,
so you say ''fuck that place''
and you find a place to rest.

Then you wake up at the other place
and you start picturing yourself back in that place.

Fuck That Place was created in collaboration with Zjuul Wiersema. This work came forth from two different initial subjects; the subject of rejecting a space and the subject of life's origin. These ideas were ultimately combined to create a makeshift glory hole within the exhibition. Zjuul made the mechanism for the bicycle, I sculpted the penis and together they created the installation. Throughout the exhibition, the public was encouraged to try our bicycle penis and vandalise our fake toilet wall with graffiti.
